Kenny Roder
Baseball
A Hoboken native with a unique mix of baseball and strength training expertise. Kenny pitched at Junco powerhouse Howard College in Big Spring, TX, followed by St Thomas University in Miami, FL. Kenny then signed with an Independent league team, Sussex County Miners. After suffering a career ending shoulder injury Kenny transitioned to helping the younger generation with their baseball journey. He offers private pitching lessons along with private and group strength and conditioning training in our brand-new performance facility.

A former Varsity player for Union City High School, George has been with HBC for the past 9 years and works closely with all our travel teams. George's approach with young baseball players is second to none as he builds their confidence while teaching the skills and fundamentals of the game.

Max Reyes

Played at nationally ranked Brookdale CC. At Brookdale, Max was a utility player with a focus on catching, in fielding, and pitching. Max is a certified Strength and Conditioning coach and is also a driveline certified pitching coach. In addition to lessons, Max coaches competitive travel teams at the 13 and over level.

Brian Dupra
Baseball
Brian served as a two-time captain for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, earning numerous accolades, including being a four-year monogram winner. He then spent five and a half years in the Nationals organization. While Brian specializes in pitching and can offer excellent lessons in that area, he is also well-equipped to provide instruction on all facets of the game.

Steve Cohen

Steve has over 3 years of experience providing hitting and infield instruction for players looking to play competitively at the High School and College levels. He played Division I baseball at Lafayette College where he was a 4-year starter at Shortstop. 2014 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, and 3 time All Patriot League Selection. Steve currently sits in the top 20 in Games played, hits, 2B's and HR's at Lafayette All-time. While in College, Steve coached several 17U All Star baseball academy Teams that competed in the Perfect Game WWBA Championships and advanced to the playoffs. During a typical season with Steve, you will learn isolated drills to improve overall mechanics while also focusing on the mental approach to each aspect of the game.

Brian Parker

Brian began his journey as a three-sport athlete at Eisenhower High School in Yakima, WA. He then attended Big Bend Community College, where he received numerous accolades for his contributions to baseball, including being named 1st Team All-League Pitcher and 1st Team All-League Outfielder. Additionally, he played a key role in the Lewis and Clark State College World Series Championship in 2007, where he achieved a record-breaking 11 saves and earned Hall of Fame honors. In 2007, Brian was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles and spent four years affiliated with the team. He brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and a calm demeanor to the table.

Raised in Dumont, NJ, Gabe's path as a collegiate pitcher was cut short due to Tommy John and shoulder surgeries, yet his passion for the game has never wavered. As a pitching coach, Gabe is committed to helping young pitchers stay healthy, develop sound mechanics, and build mental resilience. His goal is to support their success both on and off the field, while fostering a love for the game and encouraging them to chase their dreams.

Carlos Torres brings 16 years of experience in baseball, including three years as a coach, making him a knowledgeable and passionate trainer. His coaching approach is shaped by his time as a dedicated player and his education in Maryland, where he attended community college. Carlos is committed to helping young athletes develop their skills and confidence on and off the field.

Brooke is currently enrolled at Montclair State University, where she is working towards a bachelor's degree in sports medicine while also playing softball. During her time at Woodridge High School, she reached an impressive milestone of over 400 strikeouts in just three years, along with numerous other accolades.

Gianni Zayas

Former Varsity Baseball Coach at North Bergen High School, Gianni brings a wealth of experience as a Physical Education and Health/Special Education teacher. He excels in teaching students of all ages and is known for delivering engaging and enjoyable lessons.
